One thing we Nordskis like to do to keep things interesting is to travel. Last month, we packed our bags and took off to go down South and we headed down to North Carolina. We got a heckofa deal on a rental car, and we were surprised when we barely fit in it!
Good thing we only had two huge suitcases and we left the kitty cat at home, not much more would fit in that cozy car. It was fun to drive around in our oversized golf cart and parking was not a problem once!
Next, we started driving down to Bald Head Island for a lil R&R from the hustle and bustle of life. We stopped at an attraction to caught my eye - The
World's Largest Frying Pan in Rose Hill, NC. They say it can cook 365 chickens at once!!! Now, that is one big ol' potluck!! I wonder what I need to do to get an invitation?? I know Chip would love to go and bring one of his
many potato salads. (He's got the Yukon Gold potato salad, the German potato salad, the red potato salad.... geez, don't get him started!)

We went down to Bald Head Island, a nice peaceful island with no cars - just golf carts. Man, we tried to convince them that our lil vehicle was
pretty much a golf cart, but it was a no go! We spent a couple days on the island, driving around on our golf cart, going for walks, and such.

We loved our trip and we were happy to come home to our loving little kitty cat, too!
