It's Romance Time!

It's that time of year that all dem lucky ladies like me look forward to - Valentine's Day!  This year Chip just couldn't wait to surprise me with his special gift.  We had some snow over the weekend and Chip wanted to go fer a nice walk around our Saintly City. 

 We stopped in front of these decorations.  Aren't they just so cute???  Chip and I were having a good ole time sloppin' through the snow.  Have you noticed that these Minnesota winters just aren't as bad as they used to be?  Gotta say we were disappointed an itty bitty bit by da "storm" we got today.  Nothin' like that crazy Halloween Blizzard I know we all remember.

Anyway.... Chip surprised me with a perfect cold-day gift for our walk.

Maybe you don't know what this heart-patterned knit love gift is.... it's a SMITTEN MITTEN.  (Here's another one if you're interested, but ours was homemade so you can't buy 'em this great.  But heck - if I knew how to knit I'd want to make one for everyone I knew!!)

First of all IT IS SO CUTE!!!  It was such a neat-o surprise... dat CHIP, he sure is SOMETHIN.
